The American Physical Society Insurance Trust (APSIT) was established in 1969 to provide members with a convenient source for quality insurance coverage at an affordable cost. We began offering Group Term Life Insurance to members of APSIT member societies in February 1970. Since that time, APSIT has expanded to include a broad range of quality insurance products. APSIT is dedicated to meeting the insurance needs of our sponsoring organization’s members and will continue to examine new programs to meet the long-term needs of its members.
